Pre-requisite for making offline UPI payments:

The only pre-requisite for making offline payments is to ensure that the phone number which is being used to make payments is linked with the bank account.

How to make UPI payments offline?

Step 1: Go to your phone’s dialer, enter *99# and then tap on the call button.

Step 2: A pop-up menu with a number of options will be displayed on your screen. Choose an option as per your requirement, enter the related number, and click on ‘Send’.

Step 3: Now, select the option through which you want to pay money using UPI to the receiver. If you want to do it using a mobile number, select that option and then enter the mobile number.

Step 4: Now, enter the amount you want to send and press send.

Step 5: Write a remark about the payment.

Step 6: Enter your UPI pin to complete the transaction. Your transaction will be successful without using an internet connection
